What is an XL American Bully?
The XL American Bully is a powerful, family-friendly breed known for its size, loyalty, and impressive structure. As the largest class within the American Bully breed, the XL stands 21–23 inches tall and weighs between 80–130+ pounds. Despite their muscular build and commanding presence, XL Bullies are affectionate, intelligent, and great with children — often called “gentle giants.” They were developed in the U.S. by combining breeds like the American Pit Bull Terrier and American Staffordshire Terrier to create a dog with a bold look and a stable, loving temperament. XL Bullies are recognized by both the ABKC (American Bully Kennel Club) and the UKC (United Kennel Club), and they come in a wide variety of eye-catching colors like lilac, blue, champagne, chocolate, tri, and merle. When responsibly bred and properly trained, they make loyal protectors and deeply devoted companions. Thinking about bringing one home? Explore our available pups or contact us to learn more.
